4. Payment Terms
Payment terms are outlined in individual project agreements. A deposit is generally required before work begins. Final deliverables are released upon receipt of full payment. Late payments may incur a 1.5% monthly finance charge on outstanding balances.
5. Intellectual Property
Upon receipt of full payment, you own the final deliverables created specifically for your project. Flex Stream Unipessoal Lda retains ownership of any pre-existing tools, frameworks, libraries, or proprietary code incorporated into the work. We reserve the right to display completed work in our portfolio and marketing materials unless otherwise agreed in writing.
6. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep confidential any non-public, proprietary, or sensitive information shared during the engagement. This obligation survives the termination of the agreement.
7. Revisions and Change Requests
Revisions that fall within the agreed project scope are included at no additional cost. Requests that fall outside the original scope will be scoped, quoted, and billed separately. All change requests must be submitted in writing to avoid misunderstanding.
8. Warranties and Disclaimers
We warrant that our services will be performed professionally and in accordance with the agreed specifications. We do not guarantee specific business outcomes such as search engine rankings, revenue growth, or user acquisition. Our website and general resources are provided on an as-is basis.
9. Limitation of Liability
Flex Stream Unipessoal Lda total liability arising from any claim related to our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for the specific project in question. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate an engagement with 14 days written notice. Upon termination, the client is responsible for payment of all work completed to date. Deposits are non-refundable once work has commenced.
11. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing formal legal remedies.
12. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this page. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
